At 16.21hrs HM Coastguard tasked Lough Neagh Rescue to a vessel with 3 persons on board which had engine failure and was drifting in the area of Oxford Island Kinnego.
Both the Ardboe and Kinnego Lifeboats launched, when on scene the Kinnego lifeboat made way to the casualty vessel, a tow line was connected and one crew member remained on-board the casualty vessel.
The Kinnego lifeboat towed the vessel into Kinnego marina where it was safely moored alongside the jetty. Both lifeboats returned to base.
