Lifeboats tasked at 11:49am by Belfast Coastguard to reports of a vessel sending an emergency AIS alert.
Lifeboats conducted a search of the identified signal area in thick fog but nothing was found.
On further investigation by Belfast Coastguard it was established to be a temporary weather station located in the Antrim bay.
Lifeboats returned to station ready for our next tasking.
