Lifeboats tasked at 1:05pm to concerns from members of the general public that a boat might be on fire out in the Antrim Bay.
Lifeboats launched quickly and after further investigation it declared a false alarm with good intent.
Thank you to those members of the public for reporting there concerns. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Lifeboats returned to base cleaned, refuelled and ready for tasking.
