Lifeboats paged at 21:27 and tasked to a vessel with 1 person on board ran aground at the mouth of the river Blackwater.
Lifeboats launched and proceeded to the area to find 1 vessel in shallow water with the owner wading alongside. Our lifeboats proceeded towards the vessel with caution due to the weather conditions on scene and very little depth
2 members of the public in row boat also arrived to assist just as the lifeboat came alongside the vessel and brought the casualty on board. They were then transferred onto the lifeboat and a tow connected to the stricken vessel.
A tow commenced to shore and the casualty brought safely to Coney Island where they were staying.
When all safe and well the lifeboats were stood down and returned to base at 23.45 where all equipment was cleaned and made ready for the next tasking.
