Lifeboats tasked at 19:24 to search for a vessel with 2 adults and 2 children on board. The vessel had engine difficulties and was blown towards a shoreline. The vessel was unsure of their exact location but gave as much information as possible for our crews to commence a search, lifeboats proceeded to search from Hog Park Point and and from Kinnego marina.
A short time later our lifeboats located the vessel and proceeded towards it, made contact and were able to take the crew on board the lifeboat and tow the vessel safely to Kinnego marina.
Lifeboats returned to base where they were cleaned and refuelled ready for the next tasking.
