Lifeboats paged at 16:04 by Belfast Coastguard to reports of a 30ft boat aground in the area of Cranfield.
As the lifeboats approached Cranfield, further communication was received that the vessel was west of Skaddy.
Once on scene, a shallow water rescue was performed. The boat was then towed into deeper water, where an assessment of the vessel was carried out.
After inspection, It was decided we would take the vessel under tow into Ballyronan Marina.
The vessel was moored safely onto its jetty and all Lifeboats returned to base.
Lifeboats were cleaned, refuelled and ready for service.
