Lifeboats paged at 9:44am by Belfast Coastguard to reports that a digger had fallen into the water in the vicinity of Ballyginniff, with 1 person trapped.
Lifeboats made best speed and rescued 1 casualty from the digger.
The individual was transported to Antrim Marina where medical treatment was given. The individual was then handed into the care of Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
Lifeboats were cleaned, refuelled and made ready for service.
