Our lifeboats were tasked at 20:22 to a lone yachtsman who had had experienced engine difficulties just outside Kinnego bay. Upon arriving on scene our lifeboats established that the yachtsman was safe and well. The vessel was able to continue for a short time under its own power with the lifeboats escorting into Kinnego Bay. However, a tow was required when the vessel lost power at the entrance of the marina. The casualty vessel was brought safely to the jetty and moored before lifeboats were stood down and returned to base.
