Lifeboats and SRT teams were tasked at 11:08am by CGOC Belfast Coastguard to Airfield Road Toome.
Once we arrived at the scene, it was established a casualty needed urgent medical attention. Crews worked alongside Air Ambulance Northern Ireland , Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service to help remove the casualty from the waters edge.
Can we take this opportunity to thank the members of the public who assisted in helping all teams from the onset of the callout.
All boats and teams returned to base, washed refuelled and ready to be tasked.
