For emergencies on Lough Neagh and it’s tributary rivers call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

Lifeboats and SRT teams were tasked at 11:08am by CGOC Belfast Coastguard to Airfield Road Toome.

Once we arrived at the scene, it was established a casualty needed urgent medical attention. Crews worked alongside Air Ambulance Northern Ireland , Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service to help remove the casualty from the waters edge.

All boats and teams returned to base, washed refuelled and ready to be tasked.
