LNR tasked at 20:23 by CGOC Belfast Coastguard to a broken down vessel on the Blackwater River
Lifeboats launched along with van and small boats. After entering the Maghery canal and onto the Blackwater river the lifeboat was able to pick up the casualty vessel half way between the motorway bridge and Maghery.
2 people on board where taken to the lifeboat while a crew member remained on the broken down vessel and was able to get a tow line in place
They commenced a tow back to Maghery slipway and handed over to the Lough Neagh Coastguard Rescue Team.
Lifeboats returned to base at 22:30 refuelled and made ready for next tasking.
