LNR tasked at 12:49 by CGOC Belfast Coastguard to reports of an inflatable kayak with two children onboard that was getting blown out from the shore
Lifeboats quickly launched but where stood down as the children were able to paddle safely back to shore.
We would like to thank the member of the public who raised the alarm as you can never be to sure of the situation and it’s better to have alerted the coastguard sooner rather than later
Boats returned to base and made ready for next tasking.
