LNR Paged at 20:20 by CGOC Belfast Coastguard and tasked to 12 casualties who had got into difficulty near Shane’s Castle
Lifeboats proceeded to the area where they quickly located the casualties (9 adults and 3 children) who had made it to the shore.
A Lee-shore Rescue was carried out by our team. They were able to get the casualties onboard the lifeboats and safely transported to Antrim marina to an awaiting shore team
Boats returned to base at 23:00.
