Jim McCann

Jim McCann
Lough Neagh Rescue Crew Member 1989-2012

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our long serving crew member Jim McCann. Jim was on the very first crew list and soon showed his leadership qualities and was appointed a Coxswain. He also served as Training Officer, Station Officer and a Board Member on many occasions.
Jim set high standards for himself and for us all and he never wavered from these standards. You could always rely on Jim, he was a man of his word, a man of the highest integrity.
Jim always had the interests of Lough Neagh Rescue and safety on Lough Neagh at heart.
We have lost a good friend, a loyal crewmate and a great asset to Lough Neagh Rescue.
Our condolences go out to his wife Jennifer, his three daughters and his grandaughter as well as his brother Sean (who was also on the very first crew list and served for many years) and the entire McCann family and family circle and his many friends.
He will be sadly missed but very fondly remembered by all at Lough Neagh Rescue.
