Lough Neagh Rescue was tasked by HMCG at 17.45 to a report of a small vessel with 2 persons onboard which had run out of fuel and was reported to be aground in the area of Massareene Golf Club Antrim. Both Ardboe and Kinnego Lifeboats launched. In fact the vessel was discovered to be 5 miles south of Antrim. On scene Kinnego Lifeboat made a lee shore rescue of the vessel, towed it into deeper water and then on to Antrim Marina. Both boats returned to base 21.35.
Two persons rescued.
