Lough Neagh Rescue while returning from the previous callout was tasked to an area of the North East shore named Kettlebottom at 19:20. A 14 ft speed boat had sunk and four casualties were rescued by a passing yacht crewed by members of Lough Neagh Rescue Antrim Station who had quickly responded and rescued these casualties. The lifeboat arrived on scene and with sonar equipment located the sunken vessel, dragged it to the surface and towed it to Antrim Marina where Lough Neagh Rescue and Coastguard assisted the vessel safely ashore.
Lifeboats returned to base 21:30.
