Lough Neagh Rescue paged by HMCG at 23:17. Ardboe and Kinnego Lifeboats launched immediately. Vessel reported they had left Kinnego 2 hours previously proceeding to Rams Island and had got lost.
Vessel was quickly located by Kinnego lifeboat in the vicinity of Tolan’s Flat using RDF (Radio Direction Finder) and escorted back to Kinnego. The persons on board were wearing lifejackets.
Lifeboats back at their bases at 00:45.
