For emergencies on Lough Neagh and it’s tributary rivers call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

At 17:35hrs Coastguard received a cll from a Jet-Ski near the River Maine on the North Shore. The Ski had lost his passenger into the water and could not locate him. Coastguard tasked 2 LNR units to search. Police 44 & 45 where also routed to the incident. Soon after,  the casualty was spotted by the Police Helicopter and a Lifeboat was sent to the area and picked the person up. Both JetSkier and casualty where taken to the Loughshore Park at Antrim where they where met and attended to by an Ambulance. Both boats back on Station 19:45 hrs
