Call Out 460

Lough Neagh Rescue was tasked by HMG at 14.34 after two 999 calls were received from members of the public to report a flare sighting. The flare was seen east of Washing Bay and two units were launched. A search was carried out in the Washing Bay area but nothing was found. The search was called off when a spent flare casing was found adjacent to a wedding party at the Bannfoot. The lifeboats were back on station at 15.40.
