Members of Lough Neagh Rescue where tasked at 22.52 to a Leisure cruiser which had run aground just North and West of Coney Island. It had been making its way from Coney to Ballyronan Marina when she encountered shallow water and stuck fast on the rocks. Three units where launched. The Lifeboats put crew aboard the casualty vessel and checked for damage before commencing operations, two lines where attached and the Cruiser was towed into deeper water. The cruiser then made its way under her own power to Ballyronan escorted by a Lifeboat.
