Call-Out 401
KILB & AILB were tasked by MCA to Ram's Island to the aid of 4 persons and a dog stranded on the Island due to weather. All were landed in Sandy Bay into the hands of the local Coastguard.

Lough Neagh Rescue visit to Aldergrove
Today LNR and MCA were guests of the RAF at Aldergrove. The visit included a flight to Bangor and then on to the Kinnego Station. Everyone enjoyed the hospitality of the RAF and we hope that the relationship between the three agencies continue to grow over the coming months

Royal Humane Society Award
Philip McAvoy from Lough Neagh Rescue was recently awarded the Royal Humane Society Certificate on Vellum for his part in a rescue at Creevy Pier, Co Donegal ( Story in a previous news item )

Website back in business 10th February 2008
Our apologies for no news over the past number of months but as our old address was stolen it took a bit of time to get a new web address etc......we are at the moment trying to embed a webcam of the station on the site and hope to have that up and running soon, any new call-outs or newsworthy items will now be uploaded as usual......Regards

Call-out 374
At 11.10hrs Kinnego lifeboat was tasked to Coney Island where a party of 5 people had become stranded in adverse weather conditions. The party had been on the island since saturday and decided to call for help as the weather deteriorated.
The casualties where evacuated in force 8 conditions by the Kinnego Lifeboat to Maghery where they where met by concerned relatives.

Call-out 373
Kinnego and Ardboe Lifeboats where both tasked to the aid of a Sand-Dredger with an engine fire, the Kinnego Lifeboat attended the casualty while the Ardboe Lifeboat ferried Firemen from Ballyronan. The Sand - Dredger was eventually pronounced sound by the Fire crew and escorted to Toome
